Isack Alexandre Hadjar is a French-Algerian racer born on September 28, 2004, in Paris, France, and is currently competing in the Formula 2 Championship for Hitech Pulse-Eight Racing.

Isack Hadjar started his racing journey at the age of 7 from go-kart racing and competed in go-kart races for 7 long years.

Eventually, in 2019, he shifted to single-seater cars by making his debut in the French F4 Championship.

He finished the season in 7th place with one race victory to his name. Also, in the same year, he went on to win the Winfield Trophy.

Hadjar continued his journey at the French F4 Championship in the following year as well. He finished in 3rd place, just behind Ayumu Iwasa and Ren Sato, with an impressive 13 podium finishes and 3 wins.

Born into a family of physicists and doctors who would have thought that Isack Hadjar would one day become a racer.

But he defined the odds, and now, he is a professional formula racer competing at the highest level of racing competitions in the world.

The first instance where he got interested in cars was through the movie Cars. Later, he came to know about F1 races and started watching it.

This exposure to racing cars at a very early age developed his interest in racing.

So, at the age of 7, his parents brought him the go-kart, and by 2012, he had started making appearances in various go-kart racing competitions.

He joined the S-kart driving school Paris La Chapelle in 2012 and competed in his first four races of the UFOLEP Minikart championship, bagging 2 wins.

Later, he competed in the UFOLEP IDF Minikart and UFOLEP Minikart National Gathering in Valence.

He also continued in the UFOLEP IDF Young in 2014, where he won 5 races and was eventually crowned as the champion.

Additionally, he participated in the FFSA Minim e and French Cup, where he had shown a decent performance.

Finally, in 2015, he got his first full season in the FFSA CADET category and got to race in the Sens Trophy and French championship.

Isack Hadjar Has Got Physicist As His Father

Isack Hadjar has said that he owes his parents for everything he has achieved in his racing career.

Coming from a family background who has never gotten into racing in any form, it would have been hard for him to get into racing if he had not received support from his parents.

His parents have done everything they could during his early days to build his racing career.

Isack’s father is a quantum physicist, while on the other hand, his mother is a stay-at-home mom.

It was his father who introduced Isack to F1 at a very early age. He was a fund of watching F1 races but never got in racing himself.

So, when he would watch F1, his son would always be around with him, and this is how Isack developed his passion for racing.

After finding his son was into racing, he bought him a go-kart and helped Isack as a mechanic for the first few years in go-kart racing. Moreover, he has also designed most of his helmets for his son.

Initially, Isack’s mother was nervous about her son getting into racing because it involved serious injuries, but later, she was OK with it and supported him.

Crashes Of Isack Hadjar

Crashes are an inevitable part of professional racing. In every race, there is certainty that a crash will occur.

Sometimes, the crashes will be minor, like a dash from behind, and other times, the crashes will be major ones, causing severe injuries.

So, since Isack Hadjar has been racing professionally for several years, he has been involved in various crashes as well.

One of the major crashes he has been involved in is in the final stage of the 2022 FIA Formula 3 at Monza.

It was a qualifying race, and he was looking good at the track, but while coming out in the final corner, he went wide of the track, and his rear wheel touched the gravel and went straight to the tire barrier.

In the aftermath of the crash, the car was heavily damaged, but he was safe, and there were no major injuries.

He looked frustrated at the end of the crash because he was racing for a podium finish, and the crash put him way back in the race.

Similarly, in the Feature Race of the 2022 FIA Formula 3 season in Sakhir, he made heavy contact with fellow racer Roman Stanek.

The contact led to the puncture of his car, and he finished in the 25th position.

Moreover, in the 2023 Belgian Gran Prix race, he slammed hard into the wall at the end of the pit lane.

On lap 12 of the race, he was racing in the 15th position and coming out of the pit lane, but during the turn at the end of the pit lane, the left side of the car collided with the wall.

Although it looked like a heavy collision into the wall, he continued the race.

Likewise, in the 2023 F2 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, he was dashed out of the track by Roy Nissany during a turn.

This led him straight to the grass ahead, but fortunately, he was able to get control of his car and got back on track in no time.
